Training methodology

  • At the time of registration for the ESP – ESP – SUSTAINABLE TOURISM course, each participant must take an initial test to determine the appropriate level at which to start. This means that depending on your knowledge and command of the English language contextualized to the sustainable tourism sector, you could start from an intermediate level or directly from an advanced one.

Acquired skills

  • Our ESP – SUSTAINABLE TOURISM course consists of three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, which in turn have six modules that cover different areas of tourism through vocabulary, lessons, activities, exercises and evaluations of Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking adjusted to the language and situations of the sustainable tourism sector.
  • The course follows the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for the teaching of vocabulary and skills that are practiced and evaluated within the course.
  • Everything that participants learn at all three levels of our program is tailored and specifically focused on situational language needs within the sustainable tourism sector.

  • Under CEFR guidelines, the Beginner level of our ESP – ESP – SUSTAINABLE TOURISM course provides students with basic language skills so they would be in the A1 – A2 range; the Intermediate level would place them within the B1 – B2 range while the Advanced level would help students achieve a fluency similar to that of a native speaker, which would place them in the C1 – C2 range, which is the maximum according to the CEFR scale.
